Blue Box is published in English by VIZ as numbered paperbacks, and VIZ’s series listing shows no omnibus or box set to choose between. Twenty-one volumes are out. Vol. 22 is dated November 3, 2026 and Vol. 23 February 2, 2027. The series has not been marked complete by VIZ, so a full run is not yet something you can buy.

The volumes

From VIZ’s product pages and Simon & Schuster’s Vol. 23 listing, checked October 14, 2026. Prices are publisher list, not retailer offers.
BooksDatesUS list
Vol. 1November 1, 2022$11.99
Vols. 2–7January 3, 2023 to November 7, 2023$9.99 each
Vols. 8–21January 2, 2024 to August 4, 2026$11.99 each

Vol. 23 (announced)February 2, 2027$11.99

At those prices, Vols. 1 to 21 come to $239.79. VIZ marks its prices “Actual prices may vary,” and the lower $9.99 on Vols. 2 to 7 is VIZ’s own listing, so compare the books you need rather than multiplying one price. Most volumes run 192 pages; VIZ gives a 5 × 7½ inch trim and a Teen rating.

Released books and preorders

VIZ’s series listing runs to Vol. 22, flagged “Pre-Order.” Vol. 23 appears only on Simon & Schuster, VIZ’s distributor, which lists ISBN 9781974769452 for February 2, 2027. Neither is on sale yet. If you are filling gaps, buy up to Vol. 21 now and put 22 and 23 on a preorder list. Our Blue Box catalog keeps announced books separate from released ones.

Where to start

Vol. 1 is the only starting point. VIZ’s copy for it: “Taiki admires Chinatsu from afar, but he doubts that she sees him in the same way.” Simon & Schuster’s series line puts it as “A badminton guy falls for a basketball girl.” Our piece on distance in the opening gym reads the first encounter visually, and Chinatsu Kano and Taiki look at the leads (spoilers).
