Dandadan Watch Order
Season 1, then season 2, with season 3 announced for 2027: episode counts and dates, and why First Encounter and Evil Eye are not extra entries.
Watch season 1, then season 2. Season 3 is announced for 2027 and has no date yet. ANN's encyclopedia lists no films or side stories between the seasons. The only complication is two theatrical screenings, First Encounter and Evil Eye, and each of those is the opening three episodes of a season shown early in cinemas, not extra story.

Season 1
Science SARU's adaptation premiered in Japan on October 3, 2024, on the Super Animeism TURBO block on TBS and MBS. Anime News Network's report gives Netflix's worldwide start as October 3 at 25:00 JST, which is 1:00 a.m. on October 4, so you will see both dates quoted. The same report says the 12th and final episode aired that December. ANN's episode list ends with episode 12, "Let's Go to the Cursed House."
Before the broadcast, Dan Da Dan: First Encounter screened the first three episodes in cinemas: from August 31, 2024, in Asia, September 7 in Europe and September 13 to 15 in North America. If you saw that, you have seen episodes 1 to 3, and nothing more.
Season 2
The second season debuted on July 3, 2025, and, per ANN, "ended on September 18 with its 12th episode." ANN's episode list numbers it 13 to 24, from "Like, This Is the Legend of the Giant Snake" to "Clash! Space Kaiju vs. Giant Robot!" Crunchyroll, Netflix and Hulu stream the series.
The same pattern repeated: GKIDS released Dan Da Dan: Evil Eye, "the theatrical premiere of the season's first three episodes," in North America on June 6, 2025. It is season 2's opening, not a film to slot in somewhere.
What comes next
At Anime Festa in December 2025, the staff revealed a key visual and a 2027 premiere for the third season. The official site's news page lists that announcement on December 21, 2025, and says Science SARU continues as the studio. Its later items, the latest dated August 19, 2026, add no month or day. Until one appears there, 2027 is all that is confirmed.
