A Silent Voice: Complete Collector’s Edition
Two large hardcover books collect the complete story with art, drafts and material from the creator. The book boundary falls inside standard Vol. 4.
Vol. 1
The first A Silent Voice collector hardcover stops halfway through the original fourth volume. Kodansha’s edition announcement gives that boundary explicitly, so the large book does not collect four complete paperbacks. If you are changing formats after the third paperback, check where your next purchase begins: the second collector book starts in the remaining half of the fourth. This hardcover starts at the beginning of Shoya and Shoko’s story and includes color art, concept sketches and early story drafts. Its useful distinction is the split inside a numbered paperback.

Vol. 2
The second A Silent Voice collector hardcover completes the story for readers who started with the first. Kodansha places its opening in the second half of the original fourth volume and lists 768 pages for this book. The publisher also identifies more than fifty pages of material first published in English for this edition, including early drafts, creator material and art galleries. For an owner of the original story, those extras are the reason to compare editions; completing the manga does not itself require replacing an existing complete run.
