VIZ nevertheless describes teamwork as necessary. The premise therefore resists making revenge a wholly private achievement; protecting a place involves people whose motives need not match. Nothing in that setup guarantees that Noelle can satisfy both obligations, which is why the volume should be introduced through the conflict rather than a promised resolution.
