Editions and box sets

Check the named run as well as the book number; these collections can cover different parts of the story. Each edition has a page listing every book in it, with its ISBN and release date.

Which edition to buy

The English Master Edition completes the manga in six paperback books. Start with Master Edition Vol. 1 and continue through Vol. 6; the current publisher catalog uses numbered titles without the Master Edition label, while the cover identifies the edition. This is the Vertical Comics print run listed by Kodansha. PRH lists Vol. 1 at 10½ × 7½ inches, so check the individual book dimensions before choosing a shelf. Older Tokyopop copies belong to an earlier English edition. Their spine numbers are not a verified switching guide: the sources checked here establish the complete six-book sequence, but do not establish each old-to-new volume boundary.

Compare the first numbered book in each edition below. A later box set is not a starting point for the story. List prices are publisher prices in US dollars, not current shop offers.
