Bleach: 20th Anniversary Volume 1
A separate edition of Volume 1 featuring cover art from the original magazine launch. It overlaps standard Volume 1; it is not a sequel or another complete edition of the run.
Vol. 1
Bleach’s twentieth-anniversary paperback repeats the manga’s opening with a cover drawn from its magazine launch. Start here if this is the first book being purchased; it is another Volume 1, not a continuation after the standard run. The inspected unboxing shows the distinctive anniversary front and back, a partial contents page and selected interior panels. One readable clinic/homecoming passage matches VIZ’s licensed chapter sample. This comparison establishes those visible words and drawings only. It does not certify every page, a complete extras inventory or the physical quality of the paperback.

The selected clinic/homecoming passage puts two accounts of the family beside one another. Ichigo’s narration links the clinic to being entrusted with living people’s lives and tentatively wonders about a connection with his ability to see the dead. His arrival home then receives Isshin’s flying kick and an accusation of lateness. Ichigo announces his return as an ordinary event; his father turns it into a breach of the household’s expectations. The clinic’s language of care and the domestic treatment of a body collide within a few panels.
The comic violence keeps the introduction from becoming a solemn claim that the family’s profession explains Ichigo’s gift. The connection remains a possibility in the narration, while the rules at home arrive with much less hesitation. This is a reading of the visible passage, not evidence that Isshin is always uncaring. Its drawings and readable clinic/homecoming words match the licensed VIZ chapter sample. Only this selected anniversary passage has been read clearly; neighboring blurred pages and the rest of the book remain outside the comparison.
