Dragon Ball Super 12 brings Moro's escaped prisoners to Earth while Goku is absent. The publisher puts Piccolo and the other defenders against the Bandit Brigade, including the power-copying Seven-Three. Continue here for the Earth side of the existing Moro conflict, rather than expecting the central matchup to resume immediately. The shift gives the supporting fighters the advertised task of defending the planet. It does not establish that this paperback contains a complete, self-contained battle or that their defense succeeds.
Spoilers — why this volume matters. Tap to reveal.
The publisher's question is addressed to Piccolo and the others, with Goku absent. That allocation matters more to this book's advertised focus than the list of criminals. The people who might otherwise be described as support have become the ones expected to meet the incoming threat. Seven-Three's ability to copy powers gives that threat a further complication without supplying an answer about its limits. Nothing in the description makes the defenders' work a temporary performance whose only purpose is to await Goku. It asks how they will fare. The outcome, and any later intervention, remain outside this synopsis-based reading.
