Kaguya-sama volume 17 follows a relationship that now has to exist among friends, family and questionable advice. VIZ makes disclosure a live problem for Kaguya, rather than returning the couple to an untouched starting position. Choose this as continuation reading if the surrounding group's involvement interests you. It is not the reason to buy the run on its own: its buying appeal depends on already caring who knows about the relationship and what they presume to understand.

The publisher describes romantic advice moving from Kazeno to Yu and onward to Miyuki, while Kaguya and Maki discuss Ai's theories about men. Information travels more readily than expertise. That gives the comic confusion a sharper target than simple innocence: receiving advice secondhand can strip away the context that might reveal its limits. A person recently rejected is not automatically qualified to explain another relationship, just as confidence in a general theory does not make it fit a particular partner. For readers following the ensemble, this volume offers the consequences of social learning through unreliable intermediaries.
