The heroes' first difficulty here is being in sync. That does not prove a plan is sound or promise that the coming operation succeeds. It does explain why a preparation volume has something to contribute besides delaying the action. This is not the strongest standalone reason to buy the battle stretch. Its useful work is to show that assembling powerful people and producing a cooperative force are different tasks.
