Saitama's new hero status comes with a weekly work requirement in One-Punch Man. Certification has not removed the need to find a qualifying deed, and the opening situation turns the hero job into a schedule. This is a continuation of the registration material, so read the entrance-test book first. The routine is the draw here; the publisher also signals an approaching threat, without making this a self-contained workplace comedy.

The weekly quota is a better joke than a bigger enemy would be on its own. Saitama has to perform a heroic deed regularly, so ability and opportunity become separate problems: being able to help does not mean the right task appears on schedule. The publisher pairs his rounds with a threat approaching from space. That contrast makes the administrative routine look small without making it irrelevant to his job. This book is not the strongest reason to buy the run for battles alone. Its distinguishing proposition is the absurdity of having extraordinary capacity evaluated as weekly output.
