An underground tennis tournament gives Twilight's work a sporting disguise. VIZ sends him and Nightfall into the competition in pursuit of an intelligence document. Buy this for the change in operational setting if the school material is no longer the only part of the series you want. The attraction is a mission whose competitive surface creates its own demands, while the partnership adds a personal complication that a simple tournament result cannot measure.

A tennis partnership requires coordinated behavior, but shared tactics do not guarantee shared motives. VIZ explicitly gives Nightfall a secret crush on Twilight alongside their pursuit of a document with international consequences. That is the useful tension behind this departure from the classroom: professional cooperation can conceal an entirely different private objective. The volume is a more targeted purchase for readers interested in Twilight working with another operative than for someone seeking an introduction to the household. Its premise puts emotional misalignment inside the working team, where competence alone cannot settle what either partner wants from the arrangement.
