Yamcha agrees that the androids will probably look here next. His agreement is what makes Oolong's second outburst sharper: the warning has been understood without producing a decision to leave. The exchange gives the frightened character a practical question that the calmer answer does not resolve. A refuge can be familiar to pursuers as well as to the people using it. Oolong goes beyond the evidence when he treats their destruction as certain. Yamcha has conceded a likely search, not established its outcome. Yet the exaggerated conclusion does not make the route he predicts foolish. The comedy depends on those two things remaining separable: his panic is excessive, while his objection to waiting has a basis the others have just accepted. He does not need to be the strongest person present to notice that a hiding place has become predictable. Yamcha's acknowledgment leaves him with less to argue about and the same reason to want to move.
