Oolong proposes borrowing Bulma's ship and watching the catastrophe from orbit. Puar objects to the abandonment, and the objection deserves its force: treating endangered friends as something to observe from a safe distance is an ugly plan. But the alternative remains unspecified. The exchange does not identify anyone Puar and Oolong could rescue by staying, or an action their presence would make possible. That matters because solidarity can become confused with sharing the same exposure. Remaining near a danger is not automatically the same as helping the people threatened by it. Puar is strongest when challenging Oolong's pleasure at the prospect of escape, weakest when making departure itself the test of whether someone has a heart. The story here supplies a dispute about loyalty rather than a completed act of courage. It leaves open the practical question the accusation should lead toward: what being together would require them to do.
