Kotomi tries to slip away after Ryou reads her fortune. Tomoya, already angry that the prediction contradicts his efforts, calls her back. The immediate problem with Ryou's reading is therefore visible before anyone can test its accuracy: it discourages the person whose attempt to make friends is supposed to be helped. That does not prove the prediction will come true, or even that Kotomi would have left if Tomoya had stayed quiet. The exchange supplies an attempted retreat and an objection, not a completed future. Those limits make the criticism more precise. Ryou announces a forecast inside an activity that her announcement can disturb, as though describing a result were separate from affecting the attempt.
