Myotismon calls it betrayal while Wizardmon shields Gatomon. The comeback works by refusing the accusation's starting point: proximity does not establish consent. Asking forgiveness would let Myotismon decide which obligations count. Wizardmon denies him that authority before defending any particular choice. The exchange makes allegiance something claimed by its holder, rather than a debt an enemy can announce on his behalf.
