The notebook keeper. You move before the risk assessment finishes, you study everyone including your rivals, and the line about legs moving on their own was written about people like you.
The furnace. Winning is not a preference, it is the definition of the exercise, and underneath the volume is a standard you hold yourself to more brutally than anyone else ever could.
The thaw. You arrived deciding half of yourself was off-limits and the arc of your life is admitting the whole inventory is yours to use, on your own terms.
The gravity well. People read the warmth and miss the resolve, which is their mistake: you chose this for the least glamorous, most durable reason on the roster.
The auditor. You conserve everything, expect competence, and would rather expel a student than flatter one, because pretty lies get people killed at this job.
The pillar. You carry more than you show, smile precisely because it is not easy, and understand that the performance of being okay is itself the job some days.
