Did All Might Say “Because I Am Here”?

ComicBook records All Might’s reassurance after Izuku’s rescue. This check separates that English rendering from an identified anime track.

True as an editorially recorded English quotation. ComicBook’s episode-1 entry attributes “It’s fine now. Why? Because I am here!” to All Might. The words appear in the article’s body with his name underneath. The article does not identify the English dub or subtitle track supplying them, so this finding certifies that recorded rendering rather than every English release.

The article places the sentence after All Might rescues Izuku from the Sludge villain. That order makes the reassurance a response to a concrete danger. It should not be expanded into a promise that his presence guarantees safety in every future situation. The checked wording declares that this moment is fine; the broader claim belongs to an interpretation of his role.

Why the opening belongs with the catchphrase

The familiar final clause explains the reassurance that comes before it. Removing the opening can make the sentence sound like a simple announcement of arrival. Keeping the small question between the two statements makes presence into a reason: the listener is asked to accept a person as evidence that the danger has changed. One reading is that reassurance works here by transferring confidence from the rescuer to the rescued.

That reading also exposes the limit. A reassuring voice can help somebody act or recover without proving that its speaker knows everything. The sentence asks for trust in All Might’s arrival, not an argument about how the rescue was accomplished. Its force depends on the situation attached to it; copied into an unrelated emergency, confidence alone would be much weaker evidence.

A fair objection to the heroic reading

An admirer can hear a generous refusal to burden the person being saved with more uncertainty. A skeptic can hear a hero making himself the center of the explanation. Both readings fit the short English passage. The fact-check cannot decide which motive is in his mind simply because the sentence sounds comforting. What it can preserve is the distinction between a rescue being reported and a universal guarantee being inferred.

A quotation caption should therefore name All Might, My Hero Academia, and ComicBook’s recorded episode-1 rendering. If a card needs the wording of a particular licensed release, that release needs its own scene and track locator. The same thought might be translated differently without changing the speaker, but this source does not supply a side-by-side comparison.

Read the complete recorded sentence before deciding what lesson to take from it. The question in its middle gives the phrase an explanatory structure; the answer names the hero himself. That is a useful basis for discussing the appeal and the burden of a public symbol. It is also a reason to resist adding invented assurances about what he will always be able to do. A quotation can support an argument without becoming an unlimited warranty.
