Black Clover Volume 24 returns to Asta after training in the Heart Kingdom. His fellow Magic Knights have also had time to prepare, so the situation begins with an expectation of improvement. That makes this a continuation for readers who already know the cast's earlier limits. The reason to follow the training is practical: greater ability has to become something useful beyond the circumstances in which it was acquired, rather than remaining a credential.

Training creates an expectation of progress, but an invasion chooses the moment when that progress must be tested. VIZ explicitly sets the Magic Knights' improvements against the devil-powered Spade Kingdom. The contrast gives this opening a practical purpose beyond announcing that the cast has become stronger. Preparation happened under one set of conditions; the enemy now supplies another. That does not prove the training was inadequate, nor does it promise an easy demonstration of mastery. The volume's buying case is the transition from preparation into conflict, where a claim of improvement has to become a usable response.
