An official club ought to make the search easier to organize. Its assigned advisor instead introduces a problem of recognition: the group finds Mr. Sanjome suspicious because they have no memory of him. The school structure therefore supplies another uncertainty alongside its practical usefulness. Okarun's class representative then connects a found gold ball to seeing him as a handsome vampire, bringing the search back to a classmate's altered perception. This is a useful restart after the invasion because its problems are close at hand. The old object quest returns through school relationships rather than another immediate attack from space.
