Delicious in Dungeon volume 11 finds Laios still fighting the Lunatic Magician with dragons arrayed against him. The rescue has reached a situation in which his knowledge of monsters has immediate survival value. This is a continuation purchase for the confrontation, not a useful way to sample the cooking premise in isolation. Readers following that conflict should keep the sequence intact rather than treating a numbered battle installment as a self-contained encounter.

Laios is the last combatant standing against the Lunatic Magician’s dragons in the publisher’s setup. His extensive knowledge lets him resist, but Sissel responds with another plan. The important buying distinction is between knowing creatures as possible food and using that knowledge when they may kill you. The premise puts those interests in direct contact without establishing that enthusiasm is sufficient protection. This belongs with the surrounding confrontation rather than on a shelf of independent monster episodes. The reason to continue is the contest between knowledge and power, not a promise that knowing a monster makes it harmless.
