Dragon Ball Super 17 continues the confrontation between Granolah, Goku and Vegeta on planet Cereal. The conflict is already underway and shaped by the Heeters' manipulation, so the previous paperback supplies the new grievance and its setup. VIZ now puts Vegeta's attempt to understand Granolah alongside the fighting. This is a continuation in which finding an explanation matters as well as exchanging attacks. The listing does not settle whether the truth will be discovered in time or whether Granolah will accept it.

The Heeters' manipulation does not make Granolah's anger imaginary. The publisher explicitly connects the fight to their lies while describing his willingness to die pursuing revenge. That distinction makes Vegeta's effort to understand the grievance more than a search for an opponent's weakness. An adequate explanation must separate the harm Granolah cares about from the encounter others have arranged for him. Yet learning an explanation and persuading someone to act on it remain different tasks. VIZ leaves Granolah's willingness to listen as an open question. This note therefore identifies the problem the synopsis sets up, without supplying a successful reconciliation or treating the possibility of being heard as evidence that the fighting has ended.
