Hunter x Hunter's eleventh book opens with Gon and Killua attempting to escape their captor. Contents establish chapters 94 to 103. Walls, stairways and false routes make the opening a contest over what each person can perceive, rather than an invitation to another fair fight. This analysis covers only the licensed preview through the boys' conversation after leaving the building. Standard Vol. 11 is also collected in Omnibus 4; that coverage overlap does not certify identical wording or pagination in the collected book.

Nobunaga expects the pair to hide and attack him together; his extended perception gives him confidence that he can detect anyone entering his reach. Their plan defeats the prediction by treating the room as something to leave. Gon doubles back through a broken wall, while Killua draws the pursuit toward the stairs. The explanation of Nobunaga's detection makes the escape less like an unexplained lapse: preparation for a close attack is not preparation for abandonment of the fight. Once outside, Gon still wants to beat him. Killua answers that they lack the skill, and Gon asks him to keep his recklessness in check. Accepting correction is the immediate result. Nothing in the inspected opening proves they can defeat Nobunaga or finishes their next plan.
