Chapters 228 to 236, and the end of the fight begun in Vol. 25. The fight begun in Vol. 25 runs through all of it, and it is settled inside these chapters rather than left open. What the outcome is belongs in the section below, because it is the single fact about Jujutsu Kaisen that readers most want to find out for themselves and most often have spoiled. Season 3 does not reach it. A reader should not buy this volume before Vol. 25, and should expect the next four to be a different series in tone. Viz lists it at 192 pages and $11.99.

Gojo wins the domain clash. Sukuna then activates the Ten Shadows technique he took with Megumi's body and summons Mahoraga, the shikigami that adapts to any phenomenon it has seen, and it adapts to Infinity. Gojo is declared the winner and is killed in the same sequence. The complaint, made loudly since the chapters ran in 2023, is that the strongest character in the series is beaten by a technique the story established as a counter and then killed in a panel. The defense is structural: the series removed Gojo in Vol. 11 to find out whether it could continue, spent fourteen volumes answering yes, and had nothing left to do with him except demonstrate that the answer holds. Both readings survive contact with the text. What is not arguable is that the remaining four volumes are about the people who were never going to be him, which is what the series has been arranging since Vol. 11.
