My Hero Academia 3 opens with All Might answering the attack on his students. Printed contents establishes chapters 18–26; the opening analysis tests what his reassuring presence can and cannot accomplish before the fight is over. It is bounded to the licensed preview, not a review of every chapter in the book. The paperback is also included in Box Set 1, which contains standard volumes 1–20. Compare the books already on your shelf before buying a set that repeats this one.

All Might’s reassurance has two audiences with different information. Most students see a hero who moves faster than they can follow; Midoriya reads an earlier three-finger signal as evidence that his teacher has already passed the day’s limit. Their relief does not remove that private limit. All Might carries the injured Aizawa out of immediate danger and tells the students to leave, giving his words practical support. Yet the visible fight does not stay under his control: Nomu absorbs his blows, and Kurogiri helps trap him. Midoriya’s belief that the students would become a burden can coexist with his recognition that waiting might cost All Might his life. The scene makes protection a decision under incomplete information rather than a guarantee delivered with a smile. This reading uses printed pages 7–20 of VIZ’s licensed preview, within chapter 18; the next canvas is blank. No rescue outcome or victory is asserted.
