Nana faces the problem of staying visible after Blast has been brought down. Osaki still hopes the band can return, but that hope now has to survive outside its normal working life. Read this after the pressures on Blast have accumulated; the move away from a functioning band depends on that history. The buying reason is a changed career problem: public attention may be necessary to preserve a future that attention has already helped damage.
Spoilers — why this volume matters. Tap to reveal.
Nana is prepared to perform solo and accept acting work she does not want in order to keep a possible Blast comeback alive. The shift from band member to individual public figure gives persistence an uncomfortable cost. Remaining visible may serve the group, but the work that sustains that visibility is no longer the work she wanted. This is a sharper argument than simply praising her refusal to quit. A comeback plan can require maintaining a career that makes sense only as a route back to another one. Her resolve does not remove that contradiction.
