Sailor Moon’s fifth standard volume continues the crisis around Chibi-Usa and Nemesis. Check the edition before ordering: the Eternal Edition also has a fifth book, but it is a separate product advertised as extra-long. A matching number is not enough to choose a replacement for a missing standard volume. This entry belongs to the standard sequence and follows a rescue already in progress, rather than offering a new introduction.
Spoilers — why this volume matters. Tap to reveal.
This book is not the reason to buy the run. Its immediate attraction is continuing an entanglement already established: Tuxedo Mask pursues the missing Chibi-Usa while Sailor Moon faces escape from Nemesis. The woman who claims to be his daughter adds another identity problem to that divided rescue. A reader choosing a single book to sample would be paying for complications before their foundations. For an existing standard collection, however, that dependence is precisely why matching the edition matters. Replace the missing installment, not merely the numeral on its spine.
