“If I could do that... if I could... NO!! I can't! Can't you see that I'm suffering?!”
2 quotes from Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's, each with commentary on what it means and why it stuck.
“If I could do that... if I could... NO!! I can't! Can't you see that I'm suffering?!”
“No. It's definitely me she's after. As for her brother, I don't know what I did, but I can't worry about it. All that matters is defeating Misty and sealing that control tower.”
Yusei warns of a deadline: the remaining control tower must fall before sunset or the gate opens. Akiza also tells Mina she does not know who Misty's brother is. The emergency makes postponing an answer understandable, but it cannot decide whether an answer is owed. Her choice prioritizes a danger she can act on over an accusation she cannot yet resolve. That is defensible triage, provided urgency remains a postponement rather than an acquittal.
Yusei has just told Akiza to love herself. Her answer refuses the convenient idea that naming a missing feeling makes it available. She had offered Divine's guidance and affection as sufficient reasons to stop questioning him. That dependence is the obstacle his instruction leaves intact. The refusal is the more useful part of their exchange: it forces a distinction between knowing what would help and being able to feel it.
