Lloyd calls the stolen Guren entirely his, and Cecile corrects him by claiming her part in the upgrades. He concedes that it is a collaboration before returning to the danger posed by its capabilities. Her interruption briefly makes credit matter in a conversation organized around losing control of a weapon. The correction is justified without making either engineer the machine's sole author. Rakshata separately objects that they have altered her original Guren without permission. Those competing claims give the word collaboration an awkward reach: Lloyd and Cecile worked together, but the design they changed has another creator who resents the changes. Cecile is right to refuse disappearance from Lloyd's account. That does not settle every other claim of authorship or possession around the machine. The scene catches how quickly a crisis can produce an exclusive claim, and how a colleague can force that claim to become more accurate without resolving the larger dispute.
