“I won't fight him, I can't attack my own brother.”
Takuya immediately turns the family bond into a reason to intervene, telling Koji that his brother needs saving. That is a forceful objection, but it does not make Koji's hesitation contemptible. Newly recognized kinship creates a limit before it creates a duty. The scene's pressure comes from asking the same relationship to justify opposite actions; neither boy can settle the question by invoking brotherhood alone.
Takuya's objection concerns a lavender castle, which gives Koji an unusually easy target. The warning sounds sensible, but it does little thinking of its own: universal caution can win this argument without establishing what danger is actually present. The exchange is sharper as comedy than as tactical wisdom. Takuya's ridiculous confidence supplies almost all the work needed to make Koji seem discerning.
