Buy Sakamoto Days in VIZ’s numbered paperbacks, starting with Vol. 1. Vol. 23 came out on September 15, 2026; Vol. 24 is a preorder for December 15, 2026. There is one English print format, so the only real questions are where to start and how far the English run has come.

VIZ’s listing runs to Vol. 24. Our Sakamoto Days catalog also carries Vols. 25 and 26 from distributor records, announced for February 16 and April 20, 2027. Those dates can move; treat them as plans, not books on a shelf. Nothing in the checked inventory says the English run is complete, and this guide does not say where it ends.

What it costs

Every volume so far lists at $11.99 in print and $6.99 digitally on VIZ’s pages. The 23 released volumes come to $275.77 at list; with the three announced ones the catalog total is $311.74. The books are Shonen Jump paperbacks at a 5 × 7½ inch trim with a Teen Plus rating.

The spin-offs are separate

Sakamoto Days Novels and Sakamoto Holidays are listed as their own series. They do not fill a gap in the numbered manga, and a Vol. 1 of either is not the start of the main story. The guide to companion books covers how to keep those apart on a wishlist.

Before you buy

VIZ’s Vol. 1 description: Sakamoto has left the underworld and is “running a neighborhood store with his lovely wife and child,” until “a figure from his past pays him a visit with an offer he can’t refuse: return to the assassin world or die!” Our essays on the opening’s domestic comedy and Sakamoto’s no-killing rule say more about how the series works. We have not established which volume follows the anime’s last episode, so this guide does not name one.
