Dorohedoro is complete in English in 23 paperbacks from VIZ, published between March 2010 and September 2019. VIZ lists one edition of the story, so buying it is a matter of collecting Vols. 1 to 23 in order. VIZ also sells an art book, released in September 2026, which is not a story volume.
The 23 volumes
VIZ’s Dorohedoro listing runs from Vol. 1 to Vol. 23 and marks Vol. 23 as the final volume. Every print volume lists at $16.99, so all 23 cost $390.77 at list; VIZ also shows a $11.99 digital price. The books are 5 3/4 by 8 1/4 inches under the VIZ Signature imprint and are rated Mature.

Page counts are not uniform. Most volumes run 160 to 216 pages, Vols. 19 and 20 are 264 and 256, and the final Vol. 23 is 352. That is worth knowing if you are checking a used lot by thickness: the last book is noticeably bigger and is not a different edition.
Where it starts
VIZ’s Vol. 1 description sets the premise: in a city called the Hole, Nikaido finds Caiman, “a man with a reptile head and a bad case of amnesia,” and the two hunt sorcerers to undo the spell until En, the head sorcerer, sends “cleaners” after them. The art book
Dorohedoro Illustrations: Mud & Sludge is a 344-page hardcover, 7 1/3 by 10 1/8 inches, released September 22, 2026, at $65.00. VIZ says it collects “color manga pages, illustrations, sketches, paintings, and more.” It is categorized as a book, not a manga volume, and it belongs on a separate line of your checklist. Nobody needs it to finish the story, and a “Dorohedoro complete set” listing that includes it is still only complete if Vols. 1 to 23 are all there.
Buying a used set
- Count to 23 and check the last spine. Vol. 23 is the 352-page final book.
- Vols. 22 and 23 have ISBNs starting 978-1-9747; earlier volumes start 978-1-4215. All 23 sit in the same VIZ listing, so a different prefix on the last two is expected.
- Ask for the volume numbers in writing rather than relying on a photo of the stack.
