Watch Golden Kamuy by its overall episode numbers: season 1 is episodes 1–12, season 2 is 13–24, season 3 is 25–36, season 4 is 37–49, and the Final Chapter starts at episode 50. The two 2025 Sapporo Beer Factory films are an early theatrical version of the Final Chapter's opening, so a TV viewer does not need both. The story's last arc has been announced but has not aired.

The episode ranges come from the official site's broadcast notice, which lists season 1 as episodes 1–12 through season 4 as episodes 37–49, and from its Final Chapter marathon notice, which covers episodes 50–62. Premiere dates are from the Anime News Network encyclopedia entries linked in the table.

Season 4 was interrupted

If season 4 seemed to stop partway in 2022, it did. ANN reports that it aired episodes 37–42 and then delayed episodes 43–49 after the November 1 death of a main staff member. ANN's season 4 entry records a rebroadcast from its first episode beginning April 3, 2023. The numbering does not change; continue from episode 42 to 43.

The Sapporo Beer Factory films

Golden Kamuy: Sapporo Beer Factory Arc opened in Japanese theaters in two parts, on October 10 and October 31, 2025. The official announcement calls them a theatrical advance version made up of the Final Chapter's prologue, released ahead of the January 2026 broadcast. Its synopsis follows Sugimoto, Asirpa and Shiraishi to Sapporo, where they pursue the escaped prisoner Keiji Ueji while Hijikata's group and 7th Division scouts hunt a serial killer. The official episode 50 synopsis covers the same arrival in Sapporo. Watch the films or the opening Final Chapter episodes, not both, unless you want the theatrical presentation.

The Final Chapter and the Runaway Train arc

The Final Chapter began on January 5, 2026 on Tokyo MX and other channels; in Japan, Prime Video holds the exclusive subscription stream. On March 30, 2026 the official site announced the Runaway Train arc, which it describes as concluding the story, for "this winter." No date was given. Episode 62 is the latest episode page on the official site as of October 14, 2026.

Optional extras

The OADs sit outside the numbered episodes. ANN describes the first as filling in the details between two scenes of season 1, episode 12, with Hijikata, Nagakura and Ogata in the town of Barato. A separate 2025 anime of about 30 minutes came bundled with a limited edition of the spin-off novel Tokushirō Tsurumi's Aspiration, according to ANN's announcement report. None of these is needed to follow the main story.

The live-action adaptation is a separate production

The live-action Golden Kamuy films do not belong in the anime order. Their official site credits WOWOW and Shueisha as lead producers and Toho as distributor, and currently promotes Golden Kamuy: Abashiri Prison Raid Arc, which opened on March 13, 2026. Treat the live-action version as another adaptation, not as missing episodes.

English versions and the manga

ANN reports that Crunchyroll streamed seasons 1 to 3 with English subtitles as they aired and that Funimation streamed English dubs. ANN's season 4 entry lists Crunchyroll and Funimation as its streamers. For the Final Chapter, ANN reported on January 19, 2026 that Crunchyroll had announced an English dub cast, with Ian Sinclair as Sugimoto and Monica Rial as Asirpa, and ANN's encyclopedia lists Crunchyroll as its streamer. Check your own service's listing for your region. If you would rather not wait for the last arc, the manga is complete: ANN notes that Satoru Noda ended it in April 2022, and VIZ publishes it in 31 volumes listed in the Golden Kamuy catalog. We have not established which chapter follows episode 62, so this page does not name a starting volume beyond Volume 1.

Our character studies of Sugimoto and Asirpa cite specific episodes if you want a reason to revisit one.
