Dragon Ball Super Volume 2 resumes Goku's tournament match against Frost after Frost changes form. Start with the preceding paperback for the tournament's setup; the new spine falls inside the ongoing encounter. The contents calls its manga installments Episodes, while the opening page calls the first one a chapter. Those labels do not establish an anime episode handoff. This analysis reads only pages 7–21 of VIZ's licensed preview and follows how the apparent advantage shifts, without reviewing the match's later explanation or the rest of the tournament.

The opening offers abundant evidence for Goku's apparent superiority. He answers Frost's increased power without retreating, catches an attack, and repeatedly controls the exchanges. The spectators register the change, and even Frost acknowledges how much stronger Goku is than expected. Goku then treats the practical problem as settled. He interrupts the fight to propose more training and another meeting once Frost improves. That invitation is confident because the preceding pages support it, but it is still a prediction about an encounter that has not ended. Frost continues attacking; an exchange that Goku initially controls ends with him visibly startled and sent to the ground. The excerpt does not identify the cause. Its useful distinction is between having strong evidence of an advantage and already knowing the final result.
