- Season 18: Obito Uchiha 「忍界大戦・うちはオビト」 ep. 373–393
This book does not stand alone: ten chapters out of the middle of one fight, with no beginning of its own and no ending in it. Chapters 638 to 647 run from Obito as the Ten-Tails' host to the release of the Divine Tree. The engagement starts in Vol. 66 and is not settled until Vol. 68, so the three books are one purchase and buying this one by itself is a mistake. Shippuden season 18, episodes 373 to 393, covers chapters 631 to 662, which takes in all of it. Viz does not print the contents of its 3-in-1 books past the sixth, so check a spine before assuming which three volumes a collected edition holds.

Minato shares the Yin half of Kurama sealed inside him so that father and son can fight Obito together, which is the power-up the rest of this book is built on. Everything else here is attrition. Obito, as the Ten-Tails' host, outclasses the four Hokage and everyone else on the field, and chapter 646 releases the Divine Tree, the beast's true form, which drains chakra out of the Alliance to feed the illusion Obito is building. Naruto and Sasuke go back at him anyway. Read on its own this is the weakest of the three books, because it is all middle: the setup is in Vol. 66 and the reversal is in Vol. 68.
