The Dressrosa anime ends in the middle of this book, at the chapter that gives the volume its title. Season 17 runs to chapter 801, 'Opening Speech', which is the sixth of the eleven chapters here, and season 18 opens at 802, 'Zou', the seventh. A viewer who finished Dressrosa starts six chapters in; a viewer who has finished Zou has already passed this book entirely. Chapters 796 to 806 begin with Fujitora finally moving to arrest Law and the Straw Hats, and with an escape from an island whose old king is standing in the ruins of the new one's. The back half leaves Dressrosa behind for good. Viz lists two hundred and eight pages at $11.99, inside Box Set 4, which Viz states as volumes 71 to 90.

The Doflamingo fight finished in the previous book, and what follows it here is a refusal. Seven ex-gladiators, between them captains and commanders of five thousand six hundred ships, offer to swear allegiance to Luffy, and he turns them down on the grounds that the King of the Pirates should be the freest man alive rather than the most powerful. Bartolomeo ferries the crew out and the bounties are revised, which is where season 17 ends, at chapter 801. Everything after it is new to a viewer: Zou turns out to be an island riding on the back of a living elephant, populated by minks who have just been attacked by one of Kaido's subordinates and who take the Straw Hats for saviors. The crew is reunited there, minus Sanji, which is the thread the run into Whole Cake Island pulls.
