Mashle: Magic and Muscles is complete in English in 18 numbered VIZ paperbacks. Start with Vol. 1 and buy in order. VIZ’s manga listing shows Vols. 1 to 18 and marks Vol. 18 “Final Volume!” The inventory we checked had no box set or omnibus, so there is no second format to weigh.

Both books are Shonen Jump imprint paperbacks at a 5 × 7½ inch trim, and VIZ sells each one digitally at $6.99 as well. The English run took about three and a half years, roughly one book every two to three months.
What the full run costs
List prices are not uniform. Nine volumes (1 to 4, 6 and 15 to 18) list at $11.99 and the other nine (5 and 7 to 14) at $9.99 in our Mashle catalog, recorded October 12, 2026. That adds up to $197.82 for all 18 at list. It is a sum of publisher prices, not a shop offer; check the price of the particular volumes you are missing rather than multiplying one number.
Filling gaps
Every book is a separately numbered single, so a partial shelf is finished by listing the numbers you own and buying the rest. A used lot sold as “Mashle complete set” is a seller’s bundle, not a publisher product; ask for the volume numbers, and match ISBNs if you want the print edition rather than a digital copy.
What it is, before you commit
VIZ’s Vol. 1 description sets up the premise: Mash wants to live quietly in the forest with his father, but to be accepted in a magic realm he has to attend magic school and become a “Divine Visionary,” and “without an ounce of magic to his name, Mash will have to punch his way to the top spot.” Our essay on Mash Burnedead, worth and exclusion looks at what that joke is built on. If you came from the anime, the Mashle watch order lists the seasons; we have not established which volume follows the anime’s last episode, so this guide does not name one.
