Momo’s loss of confidence creates a practical problem: an available idea can remain unused because its owner no longer trusts her place in the decision. Her later coordination of classmates gives that problem a different scale.

An invitation changes whose plan counts

The official episode-35 synopsis describes Momo following Todoroki’s instructions after losing confidence at the sports festival. During their examination against Aizawa, Todoroki notices that she has something to say and proposes using her plan.

His intervention does more than praise her ability. It changes the immediate arrangement of their work. An idea that has not been heard becomes a possible basis for action, and the student who has been following is invited to help decide.

My reading is that confidence and participation can develop together. Waiting until doubt disappears would leave the plan silent. Making room for it permits judgment to be exercised while the feeling remains unsettled.

Participation can carry a condition

The official episode-46 synopsis places Momo and Iida with the group seeking Bakugo as monitors. The party follows a tracking signal while its proposed rescue excludes combat.

Momo’s presence joins practical assistance to a limit on what the group is proposing. Contribution need not mean agreement to every action companions might take. That is useful beside her later planning: judgment can concern when a plan must stop as well as how it can proceed. The limit does not make the expedition safe by declaration; its value depends on whether it continues to govern action.

A calculation can misread cooperation

ANN’s episode-55 review describes Miss Sai boosting her IQ with tea and the Seiai opponents being surprised by 1-A’s teamwork. Our reading treats cooperation as a plan’s blind spot. That is a foil for Momo’s shared planning, though the reviewer finds the surprise mawkish: classmates helping one another should not require an opponent to be foolish.

A shared emergency requires distributed work

In the official episode-121 synopsis, students organize around Momo against Gigantomachia. Her created anesthetic forms the core of their attempt, with classmates contributing their different abilities.

Here planning is no longer only a question of whether she will speak in a pair. It coordinates people whose capacities have to meet a common purpose. The plan matters through what others can do with it.

That dependence is not a defect in her leadership. A useful proposal identifies relationships among contributions rather than making the planner the only necessary person. Creating the material and arranging its use are connected tasks, but neither eliminates the need for classmates.

Offering judgment makes it available to others

Neither synopsis makes a plan’s existence a guarantee of success. That uncertainty belongs to planning: a person offers a reasoned course under conditions she cannot fully control. Waiting for certainty can become another way for a useful contribution never to enter the discussion.

Momo’s progression is therefore more specific than a lesson to believe in herself. The examination supplies an opening to voice a proposal; the later emergency places her proposal inside a group’s coordinated attempt. What develops is participation in consequential decisions.

The fact-check of the “bright future” attribution cannot supply her dialogue. These actions supply something better for understanding her: moments when judgment moves from private possibility into work that other people can share.
