Ginta is panting when he corrects the comparison. Koga has treated his own speed as the ordinary standard and the followers' exhaustion as a recurring defect. Their objection has a history: they have spent days circling a barrier that keeps throwing him back. Ginta even points to what the repeated impacts must be doing to Koga, so the complaint is not exclusively about his own discomfort. Koga answers with pride and calls the pair quitters. Above them, enemies concealed by the barrier prepare a cannon attack that throws all three backward. That does not prove retreat is the only possible strategy or that Koga cannot win. It does expose what the dismissal costs the discussion. The followers are describing limits shared by the group, while their leader converts those limits into evidence that he alone is sufficiently determined.
