Told, by a man who has just pulled a shuriken out of his own back, that he does not know Naruto at all, Mizuki concedes the point and calls it irrelevant. In the panels beside the exchange the villagers hunting for the boy say the same thing in their own words, do not think of him as one of us, when we find him he has to die, and the crowd cheers. The traitor and the loyal mob share a premise, and the chapter prints them on one page. What the sentence costs him is the fight. Not knowing the boy, he chases the boy's teacher wearing the boy's face, and on folio 46 asks the wrong person how his own disguise was seen through. Not knowing the boy, he boasts on folio 53 that one blow will do and is answered by a thousand of him. He ends face down. The villagers who said the same thing never have to find out.
