Kyon wants rain to cancel a baseball game. Nagato answers the practical question before supplying the ecological objection. The order matters: her objection is not impossibility, so rejecting the convenient fix becomes a judgment to explain. Her restraint is more persuasive than a miracle would be; it makes the unwanted game somebody's problem to endure.

Kyon answers that he has understood none of Nagato's explanation. Her formulation earns that complaint. Its neat repetition of contradiction gives an impression of rigor without providing him a usable next step. Nagato's assurance that comprehension will come later only postpones the burden of explanation. As dialogue it exposes a communication failure; as wisdom it is mostly a closed door.
