Season 20: Wano Country ep. 892–1088; Season 21: Egghead ep. 1089–1155

Chapters 1056 to 1065, and the point where the longest season of the anime runs out. Season 20, Wano Country, runs across episodes 892 to 1088, and its last episode takes its title, 'Luffy's Dream', from chapter 1060, the fifth of the ten chapters here; season 21, Egghead, opens with episode 1089. A viewer arriving from the anime therefore starts five chapters in, at chapter 1061, 'Future Island Egghead', where the series changes ocean, cast and subject inside one book. This is the last volume in Omnibus book 35, which holds chapters 1036 to 1065 for $16.99 against $35.97 for the same three singles. Viz states the contents of omnibus book 1 and of no other, so that pairing is our arithmetic and not the publisher's. 192 pages.

Luffy tells the crew what his dream is, and the volume is named for it. Around it the series resets. Carrot is named the next ruler of Mokomo, Momonosuke is handed a Straw Hat flag, Buggy is credited with an emperor's seat he did not earn while Crocodile and Mihawk decide to let him keep it as cover, Blackbeard takes Koby, and Lulusia is erased from the map in the middle of Sabo's call to Dragon. Then the closing chapters put three of the crew, and Jewelry Bonney, on Egghead Island, where Dr. Vegapunk runs a laboratory as six satellite bodies split off from his own, and Shaka tells them that the technology in front of them existed 900 years ago. Bonney is there to have her father's mind restored and intends to kill Vegapunk if he cannot do it. CP0 is already sailing there to kill him for other reasons. Everything the next six books do starts in those pages.
