Season 21: Egghead ep. 1089–1155

One Piece 108 collects chapters 1089–1100, where the Egghead fight is interrupted by a flashback that remains unfinished at the end. Released Omnibus 36 appears to hold this book with Vols. 106–107 by our existing grouping inference; that membership is not an explicit publisher enumeration. Omnibus 37 is now announced for January 12, 2027 and explicitly contains the following singles 109–111. Its announcement extends the collected inventory without making the next collection available from released stock. Box Set 5 also includes this single but remains a December 8, 2026 preorder. Season 21 covers chapters 1060 to about 1125. This paperback has 224 pages and lists at $11.99.

The flashback is Kuma's and it is the argument for buying the book. His father Clapp, one of the last Buccaneers, is enslaved alongside him and passes on the legend of Nika; nine years later the Celestial Dragons hold a manhunt on God Valley, Kuma volunteers as the decoy for Ginny and Ivankov's escape, eats the fruit that becomes the Hands of Liberation and saves more than five hundred people with it. Ginny is taken years afterward, enslaved and impregnated by a Celestial Dragon, and contracts a terminal illness her daughter inherits. Kuma then sells himself to the government in stages for Bonney's cure: Warlord, then the PX-0 cyborg, then his free will, agreed in that order. In the present, Saturn sentences Bonney and the Straw Hats to death. The buying choice is between the released single, the released collection whose contents are inferred, and the announced box whose contents are explicit. Their different release states must remain visible in a comparison.
