Most of this book is logistics: a cake being baked, a ship being steered out of a tsunami, and a duel put on pause. Chapters 880 to 889 open with Pudding and Chiffon smuggling Sanji into Chocolat Town to start the replacement cake, and with Big Mom closing on the Sunny. This is not the volume that sells the run, and nobody sampling the arc should start here. Its function is to move four separate parties into position for the next book, and it is honest about being that. 'Lion' is chapter 888. Season 19 runs from chapter 825 to chapter 910, so a viewer has seen all of this. Three singles cost $35.97 at Viz list; one Omnibus Edition book covering three volumes costs $16.99. Viz lists one hundred and ninety-two pages here.

The one thing in it that matters later is Katakuri leaving to eat. He retires for an afternoon snack while Luffy is down, and the invincibility the previous volume built starts coming apart on a domestic detail rather than in combat, which is how this arc prefers to work: Big Mom is undone by dessert and Katakuri by a private habit. The cake is the other engine. Sanji finishes the replacement, and the taste test is played as a verdict on him rather than on the recipe, because the whole arc has been arguing about whether he is a cook or a Vinsmoke. Around that, the Vinsmokes file a false report that Germa has been destroyed and go after Big Mom themselves, and Carrot goes sulong under the full moon and takes the pursuing fleet apart. Position is all this book buys, and it buys it for four parties at once.
