“Meruem, King of the Ants, you really don't have any idea, do you? You know nothing of the bottomless malice within the human heart.”

Quoted as a triumphant last word, and it is a confession. Netero has lost. Meruem beat him comprehensively, removed an arm and a leg to break the pattern the old man's technique depends on, and then offered him respect. So the malice being described is not humanity's in the abstract. It is his own: a man who walked into this fight with a miniature nuclear device inside his own body, having decided in advance that if the King could not be beaten he would be poisoned by a corpse. The line is usually heard as a species issuing a threat. It is one man admitting what he brought, to an opponent who has behaved better than he has throughout, and Hunter x Hunter never lets him off it.

“You believe I cannot pray with a single arm? A prayer comes from the heart.”

Meruem has spent the fight solving Netero as a mechanism, working out that the technique requires the palms to be brought together and removing the limb that brings them, which is how the King approaches every problem he meets. Netero prays one-armed anyway, and the Zero Hand follows.
