A Sign of Affection

Editions and box sets

Compare the story coverage as well as the binding. Each edition has a page listing every book in it, with its ISBN and release date.

Which edition to buy

The single volumes and the three-in-one omnibuses tell the same story. Omnibuses 1–4 collect singles 1–12, so owning both formats repeats that material. After Omnibus 4, the next single volume is 13; its announced print date is listed below. Follow the edition as well as the volume number when checking release dates: an omnibus number is not a single-volume number. Kodansha lists the series as ongoing, so the current inventory is not a completed-series count.

Compare the first numbered book in each edition below. A later box set is not a starting point for the story. List prices are publisher prices in US dollars, not current shop offers.

What each edition costs

Collected list prices are divided by the standard volumes each edition holds. The singles row shows the most common single-book list price; its total sums each book’s price. Retailer offers can differ.

Each linked volume has a page of its own: what the book holds and where to buy it. Chapter ranges and anime comparisons appear where verified.
