Add manga release dates to your calendar

Every release calendar on this site is a subscription link. Add it once and your calendar app fetches new and changed dates by itself; when a publisher moves a volume, the event moves with it instead of duplicating.

Pick a link

  • Every covered series: https://www.dekuswisdom.com/calendar.ics
  • One series: the "Add release dates to your calendar" button on its page, for example https://www.dekuswisdom.com/manga/one-piece/calendar.ics
  • Only the series you follow: create a shelf; it has a private link for just your series.

Copy the link, then follow the steps for your app. Do not download the file; a downloaded copy never updates.

Google Calendar

Subscriptions can only be added on a computer, in the browser. They then appear on your phone too.

  1. Open Settings, Add calendar, From URL.
  2. Paste the link into the URL field and click Add calendar.
  3. It appears under "Other calendars" on the left. The events show within a minute.

Google refreshes subscribed calendars on its own schedule, usually once a day, so a date the publisher moves reaches Google about a day later.

Apple Calendar

On a Mac: File, New Calendar Subscription, paste the link, click Subscribe. In the next dialog set Auto-refresh to "Every day" and choose iCloud as the location if you want it on your other devices.

On an iPhone or iPad: Settings, Calendar, Accounts, Add Account, Other, Add Subscribed Calendar, paste the link, tap Next, then Save.

Outlook

Outlook on the web: Add calendar, Subscribe from web, paste the link, give it a name, click Import.

Outlook on Windows: File, Account Settings, Account Settings, the Internet Calendars tab, New, paste the link, Add.

Thunderbird

File, New, Calendar, choose "On the Network", pick iCalendar (ICS), paste the link as the location, and finish. Leave it read-only.

Anything else

Look for "subscribe", "from URL", "internet calendar" or "webcal" in your app. Every one of them takes the same link. If an app insists on a webcal:// address, replace https:// with webcal:// and it will work.

What the events contain

One all-day event per volume or box set, named like "One Piece Vol. 113 (VIZ Media)", from sixty days ago onward. Each carries the chapters collected, a note when the date is announced rather than confirmed, and a buy link. Dates come from the publishers' own calendars and are checked every morning.
