Aizen's whole career is an architecture of exits: hypnosis that edits perception, immortality purchased in advance, alliances held at arm's length so nothing anchors him. Yoruichi's sentence announces that the architecture finally has a perimeter, and she says it to his face rather than leaving him to discover it. Naming the trap aloud commits everyone standing behind her to finishing the job here, because a cornered immortal is not a problem that improves with patience. What follows proves the point. Cornered, Aizen escalates into forms nobody planned for, and the battle becomes a race between his evolution and the alliance's remaining options. She opened the cage knowing what was inside it.
