Which edition to buy

The original English run is fourteen paperbacks, available individually or together in the Complete Box Set. The box repeats those fourteen volumes and adds a double-sided poster, so any original-series singles already owned overlap with it. Tokyo Ghoul:re has its own catalog; its books are outside this original-series checklist. Keep the original title and the sequel on separate checklists, even when their spine numbers match.

Compare the first numbered book in each edition below. A later box set is not a starting point for the story. List prices are publisher prices in US dollars, not current shop offers.
