Which edition to buy
The main English manga runs from Vol. 1 to Vol. 16, which VIZ marks as the final volume. Follow that numbered paperback sequence for the main story. Kaiju No. 8: B-Side and Kaiju No. 8: Relax have their own numbering: B-Side begins with Hoshina's backstory, while Relax follows the Defense Force on days off. Neither title fills a gap in the main sequence. Exclusive on the Third Division is a novel, so keep it separate from the manga checklist.
