Yuji's grandfather supplies the best objection, and nothing in these chapters makes him a sorcerer. His last words on folio 24 were a regret: make sure you are surrounded by others when your time comes, do not end up like me. If an old man in a hospital bed dies regretting, the rule looks less like a fact about sorcerers than a fact about dying, with a profession's name attached. Concede that, then look at what Yaga uses it for. He is less describing sorcerers than asking where Yuji's regret will be sent. A page earlier he asked whether it would be the grandfather's fault when a curse kills the boy, and the balloon after this one warns that Yuji might end up cursing that grandfather. The rule is a question about ownership dressed as a law of nature. The answer that passes the interview two pages later keeps the premise and changes the owner.
